Doug and his family have served with the people of Northwest for 19 years. He is an experience and application based teacher with a passion for clarity and commitment to God's Word holding degrees in Decision Sciences, Business, Biblical Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry.

Doug says,

•  "I want to live to be 120 (years old) and go to meet the Lord face to face after teaching on my birthday. I might actually be a somewhat accomplished teacher by then."
• "You show me your faith without works and I will show you my faith by my works," while crediting the book of James.
• "I would rather disciple someone in a trench doing something, living, serving than teach from a podium."

 Years ago he coined the phrase "people are what we do" and his life is dedicated to leading people to follow God.  His primary focus is to disciple people in the trenches of life.  To wit, Doug travels around the world with mission teams from the church, works in the community, trains teachers in the church and leads a one-to-one discipleship program.

Bryan and his family (Kelly and 4 boys + one on the way) joined us from the mission field in Haiti.  Originally from Ohio, they are now warm blooded southeastern people with Bryan calling snow the "white death."  Bryan leads a vibrant, Bible based, service oriented ministry for Junior and Senior High students.

Bryan says,

• "I am a missionary in Acworth, Georgia."
• "I can fix that..."
• "If only we can get the parents to bring their kids."

Bryan is a great teacher pushing the students to really get their feet on solid ground before they become adults.  He leads by example in sharing  his faith, serving and in being a fully devoted follower of Christ.  Bryan has a Bachelor of Biblical Studies combined with years of in the field and teaching experience.
