Doug has been the senior Campus Pastor for 6 years and received the vision for Christ Mission in January 2003. Doug wants to live to be 120 years old and go to meet the Lord face to face after preaching on his birthday (he says that by 110 he might actually be a somewhat accomplished teacher). As people are led by God to join this ministry of His, they too make this covenant to Him and His family members at Northwest.Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and been baptized as a symbol of my salvation, and being in agreement with the Northwest’s statements, strategy, and structure, I feel led by the Holy Spirit to unite with the Northwest church family. Man can be reconciled to God, through salvation by faith in Christ.Salvation is the forgiveness of all sin and redemption received by man through repentance from sin, faith in Jesus Christ and confession of Him as Lord. Turning away from sin, or repenting, and confessing Christ through faith, results in the regeneration of the whole man who is then justified and graciously acquitted of all penalties of sin because of the principles of Christ’s righteousness.Believers are capable, through the empowering of the Spirit, and obligated to attend to and obey God’s commands and standards of holy living.All true believers endure to the end and will never fall away from the miraculous state of grace and redemption provided by God through Jesus, though sin might impair their relationship with God and bring temporal judgment upon them.
